Dylan joined Redstone Funding in its earliest days, playing a foundational role in underwriting and asset evaluation. Part of the small but nimble team, his leadership helped shape the growth of Redstone Funding, and in 2020, he was named Vice President, overseeing loan acquisitions and the strategic management of the firm’s growing portfolio. 

“Our business thrives in moments of dislocation” says Dylan. “While market shifts can be challenging, they also open up opportunities for our platform. Redstone’s capital structure allows us to stay nimble providing quick and efficient solutions to challenging assets.” 

Redstone Funding focuses on providing capital solutions across the U.S., with a particular emphasis on commercial mortgage loan acquisitions and bridge lending. By partnering with banks and other institutions, including property owners, Redstone Funding helps solve complex financing challenges through speed, flexibility, and creative deal structuring. 

Redstone Funding’s initiative to grow its bridge lending platform comes at a time when traditional lenders are reducing their exposure to commercial real estate and interest rates remain elevated. This scenario leaves a liquidity gap, providing lending opportunities for those in the private credit space. 

“In addition to traditional banks tightening credit, there’s a significant volume of maturing loans in the market,” says Henderson. “Many borrowers are facing real refinancing challenges, especially in today’s interest rate environment. We see this as an opportunity—not only to expand our bridge lending platform but also to deepen our relationships with financial institutions that need quick and reliable exit strategies.” 

Looking ahead, Dylan’s focus will be on growing the Redstone Funding team, building new banking relationships, and scaling its lending solutions to meet a changing market. 

Before joining Redstone, Dylan worked in the Alternative Investments Group at Raymond James Financial, where he focused on the underwriting and onboarding of in institutional private equity funds. He holds both a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of Florida. A Tampa native, Dylan enjoys time on the water with his wife Sara Katherine, son Parker, and their dog Finn.
